I heard Grant Say....

I'm 6 months old today! I know my family loves me more every day because they just never stop squeezing me! Here are some things I like to do:

1. Sit outside in the 'beginning to be warm' weather :) See mom's daffodils in the background? I guess spring really is coming!

2. Show off my stylin' natural mohawk to my friends.

3. Stick my tongue out when I smile :)

4. Listen to Drew tell me secrets about my mom

5. Sleep!!

Life is good at Six Months Old!!

A Visit from Grandpa "Pwayson"

My dad was able to come to see us on his way to do some business in the midwest. We're so glad he came to spend the weekend with us!! Drew was his little shadow the entire time, and misses him very much already.

Thanks to him for helping a ton with things in the basement and the love and playtime he gave to the boys!!! We love Grandpa!!!

With both of our families living far away, we're always glad to see them! And, we love visitors of every shape and form---- who's next?!? :)

We Love FREE Stuff!

We always love when we get something for free.... even if it is T.P.!!!!

We were excited (we're such dorks :) to find that we had been T.P.'d this morning! So funny! The first words out of Andy's mouth were, "Man, I feel bad because we don't have any big trees or anything for the kids to T.P.!" Isn't that funny?

We loved it, though!

About the Tank....

Lately I've been trying to capture just how fat our little Grant is-- I'm such a loving mother he he-- BUT, the camera never really catches the gravity of his complete chunkiness :) Oh, how I love how chunky he is!!

Here is the little 23 pounder(!) in all his glory :)

In other exciting news... Grant is starting to sit up on his own! He's still learning, but can sit there for a while, and loves to watch Drew play. Can't believe my little baby is growing up so quickly!

"Good Morning, Buddy!"

Grant begins to make noises in his room... he's awake!

Drew: "OH! Baby Grant wants me!!!"

Drew runs in there, stands on the side of the futon and proceeds to have a 'conversation' with him.

Drew: "Good morning, Baby Grant! It's six o cwock, see?!" (we always tell Drew he can't wake up until 6 o'clock... for a while there he thought it was kosher to wake up at 4 am!)

"Did you have good dreams?"

"Are you happy?"

Then Drew will bring in all sorts of cars, blankets, pacifiers, etc. for Grant to play with. It's usually about 10 minutes before Drew says, "Mommy, Baby Grant wants you."

This is another funny conversation I had with Drew the other day. I was trying to teach him his full name.

Me: "What's your name?"
Drew: "Drew Burringham"
Me: "What's my name?"
Drew: "Mommy Burringham"
Me: "What's daddy's name?"
Drew: "Daddy Burringham"
Me: "What's your brother's name?"
Drew (very sincerely says): "Pacifier Burringham"!!!

Oh, so that's his name?? Right.... :)
