The Little Couple, Part 2

On a play date the other day, my son and his cute little friend (a.k.a. wife) go for a cruise on the wiggle car.

Then, he treats her to a cheese stick for a quick snack...

Before they're off again!

Until next time.

Adventures of G Warrior

Never, ever leave your 20 month old to color while you take a shower-- even with a four year old 'watching' him :) Need I say more?

I'm sure most of you already know this.... I'm a little slow :)

He's really nice to have around

One thing I hate about this time of year is the flies.... argh! And, with little guys running in and out all day long, they are always plentiful around here.
Try as I may, and can rarely get one with a swatter. --I guess some hand-eye cooridnation would be helpful :)- I used to just wait for Andy to get home and get 'em all for me. Lately, though, we haven't had to wait. This little Mr. is quite the fly catcher! Seriously. He loves doing it, and I love him more for getting all those little pests out of the way.

{Imagine him exclaiming "Gotcha!" here :) }

Love these Kids

Grant is saying 'CHEESE!'

These two are good buddies! I love that they love the play together so well {most of the time ;) } I am so blessed to have them in my family!

Happy 6th Anniversary Love!

This was 6 1/2 years ago when Andy and I first started dating... I am so happy that I found him-- he is the best husband and father. He cracks us all up each day! I love him more and more each year!!!! So glad to be with him for eternity :)

My Married Son

I know, you're thinking, 'he's only four... c'mon!'

But no, really, according to him and his bff Ava, they're already married. Oh, how I love those two cuties!!
One of their choices of activity when playing together? Draw pictures of when they got married. They're very precise, never forgetting Ava's beautiful curly hair and the heart of love between them ;)
Ava's Rendition:

Drew's Rendition:
I love these kids, and I love that they're such great friends! We'll see how they describe their relationship 10 years from now :)

The Bedtime Fairies

Somehow Drew learned about the tooth fairy. Since he is not losing teeth yet, he came up with a better idea:

He said, "Mom, I'm putting a pretzel under my pillow so that the pretzel fairy will come and give me candy!"

Fun Times

We have had a great summer-- I just wish it would s l o w d o w n!!

This weekend we had our good friends the Courtrights come and visit-- we go way back to the good ol' married student ward at BYUI. We had so much fun just lounging and laughing and reminiscing.

Alex and Drew were instant buds and had a great time together (until they both wanted the same toy... oh, four year olds! :) They really did hit it off and Drew keeps saying to me, "I really miss Alex!"

Their sweet little Ivy is just so stinkin cute! I told Nicole today... "You really can leave here here, I won't mind!" :) Such a sweet little adorable girl!!

I can't wait til next week when my mom gets to come visit for my birthday (yay!)-- projects here we come!

Then we'll be headed into my most favorite time of the year- fall! Getting ready for seminary and preschool!

Oh, the things they do :)

So, tonight I put Drew to bed, close his door, and don't hear any more from him. About half an hour later, I go in to check on him, but I cannot find him in his room!

I run out to Andy-- "Did Drew come out here? I can find him!"

I look around the house at his usual 'don't-want-to-go-to-bed-hiding spots' and he's nowhere to be found.

Finally I head back in his room and look a little more thoroughly....

Sound asleep deep under his bed! (aren't kids supposed to be scared of monsters down there?!?)

My Little Musician

This little guy has fallen in love with the piano. Pretty often he'll want to sit down and play-- he has to have a book up there so he can turn the page every now and then. Once in a while he'll start 'singing' while he's playing!

I wonder if this love for the piano and music will stick around long-- I'd love it if it did!

The Secret Way

Recently two of our neighbors put up fences. They left this little space in between the two that we can access from the back corner of our yard. Drew calls it his 'secret way' and loves to go on adventures through there :)
Cute kid-- he insisted on going on an exploration with his backpack and binoculars :)
