Family Night Fun

It all started when I asked the boys to act out the story I was telling. At one point they needed to be 'scared'. Grant was copying everything Drew did, and looked so darn cute-- we had to pull out the camera. Then things really got exciting/funny when we played "Do as I'm Doing"-- look at the determination on Grant's face!
Oh boy, can you feel the energy level rising?

Caught Drew in the middle of some strange jump move :) Kinda cool, though!

Here we go-- craziness at it's best! I can't keep myself from laughing every time I see this picture! Cute kid...

Man, I love my family!! There's nothing in the world that compares to playing, laughing, running, and loving with them!!

Playtime at the Park

We love going to the park to play-- so do the boys :) I just thought these pictures were too cute...

Visitors

That won't leave!!

Early last month a robin tried a few times to build her nest on the wreath on our front door. Not wanting that to happen, I eventually took down the wreath. She found a nice little spot on our gutter, built her nest, had four babies, and a couple of weeks ago they were all grown and gone.

I thought, "Good, let's get that wreath back up." My front door is too bare without it.

Now yesterday, as I answered the door for the babysitter, she jumped and said, "Uhh... did you know you have baby birds on your wreath?"

What?!?! Didn't I take down the wreath to avoid this very thing?

Sure enough, there they are-- 5 little baby birds nestled up in their own waste (yuck!)

So, what choice do I have other than to not use my door until they're grown up and gone? None, I guess :) -- I do not want any birds flying into my house! --

One thing I know for sure... that wreath is headed straight for the garbage once those birds are gone! No more wreaths for me- they must be much to homey.
