And now..... We Wait

This last stretch of pregnancy is so hard!! I'm torn between wanting the baby out (NOW!) and wanting just a little more time to enjoy my time with my two little guys.

Had a Dr's appt today, and baby is already measuring 8 lbs 2 oz. Oh boy. We have a whole seven or so days more for him to keep getting bigger. The other thing with those ultrasound measurements is that they can be one pound or so off either way-- so I technically could have a 9 lber in me already--- ouch, I hurt just thinking of that. The day I went into labor with Grant/had him the ultrasound measured him a whole pound lighter than the 8 lbs 10 oz he was. SO, we'll just have to wait and see what happens with this little guy.

At any rate, the Dr will induce me no later than the 9th (two days past my due date) so that grandma and grandpa- who will be here for his big debut-- don't miss him. At least there's an end in sight.... (right? I keep reminding myself another 10 days is not that bad.... ;) And, maybe-- just maybe-- I'll go into labor on my own before then!

Either way, at the most it'll be only 10 more days until I'm holding one of these again:

Drew (L) and Grant (R) as newborns :)

Because you asked

...and only because you asked (whit, linds :) This is actually the first pregnant photo I've taken this whole pregnancy-- I guess it had to be done anyway-- I'm feeling (and looking!) much bigger this time around--- ugh. BUT, I'm still so excited to meet this little guy soon!!

2.5 weeks to go, and so ready to be done!

Not made for yoga

I turned on some yoga program I found on the tv this morning-- Well, it took me about one minute to realize that it was just not going to work with my 37 + week baby belly :) Grant, on the other hand, wanted to keep doing it. So, like any nice mother (right...), I sat down on the couch and watched him go at it for a few minutes. They finally got to some position where you had to bend over with your arms out to the side or something. Grant was following right along until--- crash -- he fell flat onto his face!!! I couldn't help it and just started laughing, it was so funny!!! He just lay there for a minute trying to decide what happened, I think, and eventually when he realized I was laughing he just started crying. Poor kid :) I did run over and comfort him-- I'm not that mean -- but the sight of it just caught me so funny!! Guess the poor kid takes after his mother-- we are not made for yoga :) :)

Soccer

Drew had his first soccer game this last Saturday. Other than the freezing weather (39 degrees with a rain/sleet mix and windy), it was a blast!!! He had so much fun, and so did we! Watching ten 5 year olds chase after the ball/clump together/fall on top of eachother is so, so entertaining :) :)

He did so good staying right up by the ball and trying to get it turned around to make some points. Cute kid :)

Now, here's to better weather next time!!! (isn't it supposed to be spring? We woke up to 1.5 inches of snow this morning..... ugh!)

I know this picture is blurry, but it's the best one I got! It'll have to do-- at least you can see he's having fun! :)

Getting there---

I am just a few short (though it feels like forever... ;) weeks away from having this little boy. I am so, so ready to be done-- and so, so excited to meet him and see him!!! Although the thought of three kids seems crazy, I'm mostly excited. I'm getting all the clothes and blankets washed today, and that alone will get me ready for a baby any day-- can't wait to have a little one again to hold! (since we all know my baby Grant is not so little anymore :) So, here's to the final few weeks-- may they fly by and {if I'm really lucky} may he come sooner than that!!!

I need to clean my fridge

But I don't have the heart.

Every time I go to throw away a picture, I see how cute Drew wrote his little name, or the adorable little details he put into his pictures, and I can't do it.... Maybe it'll be easier now that I have a picture of these sweet little pictures :)

He Never feels unloved....

Although, maybe it's little much sometimes:

Trying to get his jacket on and head out the door to work.... with a boy hanging on each leg :)

They clung to him all the way to the garage door, and I had to peel them away even then. So cute! These boys love their dad-- and who wouldn't?? He's the best dad ever who plays with them, teaches them, and loves them unconditionally-- WE LOVE ANDY!!!!

Cute Boys

The other night they insisted on being in the same bed as we read scriptures... made me smile :) It wasn't long, though, before Drew started pushing Grant out....
