Laughing is really good for you :)

Everyone needs a great laugh now and a again, right? Well, I'm telling you, we got our fair share of them this week! We always love it when Andy's parents come in town, and so do the boys :) Drew got in a whole lot of dress up time...

Apparently, Drew divided all the dress up stuff into a 'cool pile' and a 'silly pile'. He would make Grandma and Grandpa choose from the silly pile, and he would choose from the cool pile :) What a goof!

We got our yummy cider and donuts, and a whole stomach-full of free samples from our favorite Edward's Apple Orchard...

We got a lot of good game time in (the favorite this time around was dark tag... not pictured, but oh so funny!!)

We had an awesome time for a couple of days up at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells-- oohhh, we love it there! Nothing beats swimming and doing all sorts of awesome waterslides in eighty degree weather while it's 30 degrees outside :)

Drew was much more brave this time going down all the slides he could with us. The boys had a blast, and Grant keeps crying to go back to the 'wa-er sides' and wants to 'pay in the wa-er' :)

We love you, Grandma and Grandpa!!! Thanks for coming to play, help (you did a lot of this!!), visit, and laugh with us!!

p.s. don't know where Drew picked this up, but his new thing is to do the 'peace' sign in every picture we take of him :) Crazy kid.

On the way...

In our family there are quite a few good things on their way...

#1-- Thanksgiving! Time to play with daddy and eat good food :)

#2-- Christmas- we get to spend in in FL (who wouldn't want that?!?) with my awesome family!

#3-- My sister's wedding-- we get to drive out to UT for this special, special day!! We'll get to see my family, Andy's family, and lots and lots of extended family (can't wait!)

#4-- Saving the best for last :) A new baby!!! Coming in early May 2011 we get to add another little person to our bunch. Can't wait!!!!!

#4a-- A new baby always brings a slew of visitors, which we always love!!

What are you Thankful for?

I'm especially thankful for my family-- wonderful parents, parents-in-law, siblings, siblings-in-law, cousins, grandparents, friends who are like family, and most especially for my awesome husband and our two beautiful boys!!

Oh how I love this time of year!!!!

I love happy children.

Of course, I love them all the time.... it's just a super big plus when they're happy and playing together :) :) :)

Halloween

This year for Halloween was pretty quiet and chill... We had a little Halloween party at Drew's preschool (the only place I got pictures) and then Andy was out of town for the Trunk-or-Treat- so it was just me and the boys.

Even though it was 'quiet'compared to a regular Halloween, the boys still had a blast and still totally stocked up on candy-- oh my-- those trunk-or-treats will do it to ya! :)

Edwards

We love this little (big), nice apple orchard close to our home called Edwards. It's the best place to go for all of us-- the boys love, love the little handmade, classical tractor filled playground and the little petting zoo. Andy and I love to go sample all the delicious country type dips, spreads, dressings, apples, etc, etc, etc. We seriously get full on all the free samples :)

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of my cuties driving their little tractors.
