Family is the best

Our trip to UT a couple of weeks ago was so incredibly fun-- it's not often that we have both families so close together and get to see them both throughout the week.

My whole family was there for my sister's wedding, and half of Andy's family lives there, so we got to spend some quality time with everyone-- which was awesome!

Our boys were so confused when we'd leave G&G Bham's house and say, now we're going to see G&G Clayson-- they got a double dose of the loving grandparents, which they LOVED!The growing Clayson Fam :)

What a beautiful day it was-- I'm so, so happy for them!

As exciting as this marriage was, it's also very bittersweet-- now the lovely couple has made their way to and set up shop in Australia (Adam's home country). SO, the saving begins for a big trip out there sometime (hopefully!) SOON!

Dust it off....

Drew pulled out my Pilates Ab workout video today-- we had to dust it off before he could use it-- and then went to town! He said, "Mom, I need to exercise so I can be strong!" Okay, buddy-- great plan! (can I have some of that enthusiasm about exercising?!?!)

He's been going for about 15 minutes already, and to tell you the truth, he's still out in the living room working out while I'm being a bum on the computer.... Something is wrong with this picutre.... :)

I do the laundry-- honest!

So, I'm working on returning some emails, enjoying listening to my boys play together in the other room-- when all of a sudden I realize their conversation has taken an interesting turn....



Drew : "So Grant, what do you want to talk about? Do you want to talk about cars?"



Grant: "No."



Drew: "Well, what then? Do you want to talk about dirty clothes?"



Wait, what?!?! Who talks about dirty clothes-- I mean,where did he even get that?!? Is this a sign that it's time to get some more laundry done?? Made me laugh :) :)

It's Official

I am a boy mom for now-- and I LOVE it! I cannot wait for this little guy to join us here in early May!!!

SNOW!

This morning was so exciting-- we had our first big snow of the season, and we love it! ((Of course, 4 months from now when it's still around, I won't feel this way....)) BUT, it's fun for now!

Got the boys all dressed up to go and play-- boy, did they love it!

Later, we made a last minute decision to head out and try to get some family pictures on our own. We wanted to take advantage of the fresh snow. In just a few shots and only about 15 minutes, we actually got some cute ones!! This is my favorite of all of us:
